Overview

SWL screw lifts use a worm gear set and a screw drive to convert rotary input into controlled linear motion. They can lift, lower, push, pull or position machinery and are available in trapezoidal-screw and ball-screw configurations.

Configurations

JWM Series: Sliding drive with a precision worm gear pair and trapezoidal screw pair. Suitable for heavy-load, low-speed and lower-frequency duty.

JWB Series: Rolling drive with a precision worm gear pair and ball screw pair. Suitable for higher-speed and higher-frequency duty, subject to the selected model and operating conditions.

Screw head options: Cylindrical shaft, flange and flat head with hole.

Main options: Mounting support, hand wheel, motor or geared-motor input, double input shaft extension, moving screw nut, dust cover, overload clutch and brake.

Models

JWM010–JWM1000 and JWB010–JWB500.

Selection Notes

Final selection must confirm the static and dynamic load, lifting speed, stroke, duty cycle, input speed and power, screw orientation, mounting method, required safety factor and whether the load must be held when the drive stops. Do not rely on assumed self-locking for personnel or safety-critical lifting; use a suitable brake or independent safety device where required.

SWL screw lifts can be combined with NMRV worm gear reducers, WP Series worm gearboxes or industrial electric motors.
